Fox River celebrates the Easter season in a variety of ways. All are welcome for a week of anticipation, contemplation and celebration.
The Community Easter Egg Hunt kicks off the festivities, offering a fun time for the whole family. Good Friday comes next with special services at all our campuses for a time of remembering the sacrifice of Jesus. Finally we celebrate Easter with the hope and joy of the resurrection on Saturday and Sunday.
P.S. Easter kicks off a brand new message series through the end of April called “What Difference Does God Make?” Now is the perfect time to start thinking about who in your life needs to know God in a new, life-giving way.
Good Friday sits alongside the celebration of Easter in stark contrast. It’s a time of contemplation and remembrance. On Good Friday, we gather to remember that Jesus faced death, so that we could find life.

Jesus is alive. If that’s not cause for celebration, then we’re not sure what is. He overcame the grave, so that we could overcome guilt, fear, shame and doubt. Now that’s some good news worth sharing with the whole neighborhood!
