Psalm 103:10-12
He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Devotional:
Are you kidding me (God chooses to treat me kindly)? There have been so many times, where I have ignored God’s leading. Many times, even, when I have flat-out said “no” to what He was asking me to do. No doubt, I have fallen short. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I realize how imperfect I am. However, His love for me is greater. By simple faith in Jesus Christ, He has forgiven me.
Amazing. Grace.
We must guard ourselves from underestimating His goodness. With faith in Jesus Christ, there is no forgiveness that cannot be given/received. Renew your mind with the truth of God’s Word… His love for you is great! Respond to His love for you by speaking to Him these simple words:
Your love for me is great (You treat me better than I deserve).
Please forgive me, Lord, for _______ (according to Your great love).
Thank You, Father… for meeting me here today.
