Kids 5K- 8th Grade
Welcome to Upward Football & Cheer at Fox River!
All children 5K thru 8th grade are invited to join a team.
Please register your player in the grade they are entering ’23-’24.
The division structure will be determined based on registration numbers. All divisions are coed. We will also honor requested friend links within reason. If you have children of different ages enrolled, we will do our best to place them on the same practice night.
Practices begin the week of August 21st. Your child will practice one night/hour per week. Practices occur Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights for Football, and Monday nights for Cheerleading. We will do our best to honor requested practice night exclusions.
Games begin September 2nd and continue each Saturday until October 14th or a total of 7 games.
All practices and games will take place at Fox River Christian Church-Waukesha Campus. Our playing fields are equipped with painted lines, regulation sized goals, and age-appropriate soccer balls. Our coaches receive background checks and attend an Upward Soccer coach orientation.
The cost to play this season is $140.00. This cost includes Jersey, shorts, and a special end-of-the-season gift.
2023 Upward Soccer Key Dates
Evaluations: Fox River Church Outdoor Fields (Players must attend only one session)
Thursday, August 3rd 6-7:30pm | Saturday, August 5th 10:00-11:30am
A typical evaluation takes about 30 minutes depending on wait time. No need to arrive directly at start time, players can leave when finished.
*All practices and games take place at Fox River Christian Church-Waukesha outdoor fields.
Practices: *Practice time is one hour per week.
Football: August 22nd – Oct 12th 5:30-7pm (Tue, Wed OR Thurs)
Cheerleading: August 21st – Oct 11th 5:30-7pm on Mondays
Game Days: *Games last one hour. Game times occur between 8:00AM-3:00PM
Every Saturday September 2nd thru October 14th
Picture Day: Saturday September 16th
