My City Mission

August 9-12 | North Waukesha Campus

A local student missions experience for 6th–12th grade students.

Make a Difference together

My City Mission helps students glorify God, grow together, and make a difference in their community. Over four days, students and adult leaders will serve throughout the Waukesha area, build friendships, and live out their faith in practical ways.

Based out of Fox River’s North Waukesha Campus, students will head to surrounding areas to serve in schools, nursing homes, food pantries, and more each day. We then return for meals, chapel, and community time together.

The week wraps up Wednesday night at Fox River’s Lake Baptisms.

Open to rising 6th graders through graduated high school seniors.

What to Expect

My City Mission gives students the opportunity to spend a week serving locally while growing in faith and community. Each day, students will meet at North Campus, pack lunches, and head out to serve at partner locations throughout the Waukesha area. Projects may include serving at local schools, nursing homes, the Waukesha Food Pantry, Misfits for Jesus, and more. Throughout the week, students will get to see firsthand how God can use them to love people and make an impact right here in their own community.

There’s also plenty built into the week beyond serving. Students will spend time with their crews, return to North Campus for downtime, gather for chapel each afternoon, and eat dinner together before heading home on Monday and Tuesday. The week starts with a Sunday night rally for all students, with games, worship, a message, and key details for the days ahead. On Wednesday, the experience ends at Fox River’s Lake Baptisms at Army Lake Camp, giving students the chance to celebrate all God has done throughout the week.
