Class 1: Family/Child Dedication

Audience: For Parents of Children Birth – 4 YO

Class Description:  Family Legacy Path Class 1 introduces parents to the Legacy Path. We discuss what it means to be the Primary Faith Trainer in your home and introduce concepts like Faith Talks, God Moments, and Milestones. At this class we also teach what Child/Family Dedication is all about. This class occurs every third weekend of the month. 

Classes happen every 3rd weekend of the month after services.

Class 2: Salvation & Baptism

Audience: For Parents of Children Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Class Description:  Family Legacy Path Class 2 focuses on how to know when your child is ready to make a decision to accept Jesus as their Savior. We’ll talk about how to have those conversations and walk beside you as your child prays and moves forward for baptism.

Classes happen the 1st weekend of the month after services.

 

Class 3: Adolescence

Audience: For Parents of Children 3rd – 5th Grade

Class Description:  Our Family Legacy Path Class 3 helps parents prepare to lead their child through the upcoming spiritual, emotional, physical and social changes that come with the teen years. We provide guidance on how and when to have “The Talk” with your child.

Class 4: Pursuing Purity

Audience: For Parents of Children in Junior High

Class Description:  Family Legacy Path Class 4 will take a holistic approach to purity in all of life according to Scripture and to prepare families to celebrate the Purity for Life milestone together. We want to encourage parents to continue the conversation with their kids about purity and sex and to be equipped to hold a Purity for Life Ceremony tailored to their family.

Class 5: Preparing for Adulthood

Audience: For Parents of Children in 10th Grade

Class Description:  Our Family Legacy Path Class 5 recognizes that parents have an amazing responsibility to prepare their son or daughter to embrace growing up from all perspectives. This places this time of transition to occur at sixteen. Most students will get their driver’s license and keys to either their car or a shared vehicle. They will have an unprecedented amount of freedom. Yet before engaging this new freedom, parents must prepare their adolescent to see this freedom through God’s heart.

Class 6: High School Graduation

Audience: For Parents of Children in 11th Grade

Class Description:  Family Legacy Path Class 6 prepares parents and their 11th grade students for senior year to begin! First we’ll cover defending your faith, discerning God’s will, being an influence, dating and marriage, and considering what life skills to brush up on before leaving home.  Then, “Senior Summit” – a weekend event for seniors and their families happens during April of senior year. “Senior Summit” includes a Friday night dinner and graduation blessing.

Class 7: Life in Christ

Audience: For Parents of Children in 12th Grade

Class Description:  Our Family Legacy Path Class 7 introduces upper classmen and college and Young Adults to Growth Track (Gather, Grow, Give and Go) and the lifelong journey towards Christ (sanctification) in and through; prayer, Scripture, faith, obedience, discipleship, stewardship and community.
