Must-Know for Kenya

Cost

The total cost for the trip is $3,900. Additional expenses include a passport at $130, a visa at $35, and travel insurance ranging from $150 to $250. Immunizations may also be required; please consult your doctor for specific costs, which could be around $500. To reserve your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required, and it will no longer be refundable after March 1, 2025.

*There will be fundraising opportunities available for students to help cover the cost of the trip.

accommodations

The Voyager Hotel offers a typical resort experience akin to those found in the United States, where students will share rooms with one or two peers of the same gender, while leaders will be accommodated in nearby rooms. This all-inclusive resort provides meals throughout the stay. Alternatively, Missions Housing is designed specifically for missions teams and features a large home within a gated compound. The housing includes shared common areas for the team, with room arrangements by gender depending on the group size, often accommodating four or more people per room. Meals are also provided at this location.

team meetings

Meeting dates TBD.
Starting January 2025 we will have mandatory monthly meetings to prepare and grow as a team.
Majority of the team meetings will be team members only. We will host parent meetings to answer questions and get information to parents along the way.
