Videographer & Motion Graphic Designer

Full Time – Waukesha

Purpose of the Job: Produce video, graphic, and motion graphic content for all media platforms as well as in-service experiences to collaboratively execute the vision of Fox River Christian Church

Experience and Knowledge Required:

· Experience with shooting and editing video on a deadline basis

· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Final Cut Pro (Premiere CC, After Effects CC)

· Previous experience in DSLR video workflow

· Ability to extract compelling elements from raw video footage

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

· General knowledge of design concepts with a pulse for current trends and techniques

· Ability to think ahead, anticipate organization needs, and offer creative solutions

· Understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Basic HTML preferred (CSS, Flash and other relevant technology skills is a plus)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Experience promoting a brand or organization using social media (including Instagram and Facebook)

· Ability to work as a team player and discuss needs, challenges, and ideas

· Experience managing volunteers

· Ability to build a team

· Ability to lead a team in completing projects

· Proven track record of effective time management

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Create stories and announcements through video that will be used online, in social media, and during the weekend services

· Lead video shoots and edit videos

· Conceptualize and create long and short-form videos and motion graphics to be used throughout various media types including digital display, social media, CCTV, and weekend services

· Create video content for each of the ministries at Fox River

· Be a part of live broadcasting and on-location video shoots (occasional travel)

· Receive footage and be able to create a video outline

· Digitally cut files to put together the sequence and decide what is usable

· Oversee the quality of the audio in videos

· Consulting with directors, producers and/or ministry leaders throughout the post-production process

· Submit purchase requisitions pertaining to social media and website.

· Find and moderate stories of life change to share on video and social media

· Manage a Dream Team of volunteers to assist in content creation for social media and acquiring stories for all regular services and events

· Connect with departments about potential stories of life change

· Stay current on social media trends

 

Weekly Responsibilities

· Attend weekly staff meetings

· Report updates on all projects to direct supervisor

· Respond to emails, phone calls, and texts in a timely manner

· Manage projects, organize tasks, and prioritize workload

· Communicate project progress within project management software

· Able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and some evenings

KIDS COORDINATOR

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:

• Attend service at Fox River.
• Seek and Train volunteers -build relationships with each volunteer
• Download Curriculum and Prepare Lessons
• Gather supplies needed for teaching
• Work E.C. Coordinator to provide service coverage
• Answer questions
• Create volunteer schedules
• Attend team meetings
• Attend 1-on-1 meetings with director
• Attend Staff Meetings (All Staff)
• Calmly handle emergencies that may happen during services
• Keep track of attendance and data entry of headcounts
• Keep up with Child Protection guidelines

PAID CHILDCARE POSITION

Role Summary/General Purpose of Role:

Care for children in a safe God-honoring environment while parents pursue spiritual guidance, growth, fellowship and relationships.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:

• Arrive on time per work schedule.
• Attend Child Protection training one time a year.
• Attend quarterly meetings.
• Welcome children and parents when they enter the room.
• Inquire with parents if there is any information needed (i.e., child protection, allergies).
• Ensure each child and their items have the proper tags on them (i.e., child protection, allergy, diaper bags).
• Engage in appropriate age level activity.
• Encourage and assist children in cleanup of any toys or books.
• Work with coordinator to ensure snack safety (i.e., allergies).
• Greet parents as they come in to pick up the children. Verify security tags and hand off any belongings.
• Clean room by ensuring all toys put in proper area, wipe down tables and counters, vacuum if needed, and empty garbage.
