John 17:20-21

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

Devotional:

Jesus Prays for All Believers:

Within these passages, we find Jesus speaking to the Father about future believers. Specifically, mentioning the “message” of then-current believers as a way for un-believers to be saved and become part of the Body of Christ. God desires for us to be saved and have everlasting life with him. Jesus shows us that it is His as will as His Fathers desire for future believers to come to faith through our testimony and our witness as believers. Jesus prayed, and continues to pray, for the unity of all believers. Brothers and Sisters, pray with purpose, conviction, and expectation. For it is through your praying and daily testimony that others may seek and come to know Christ.
