James 1:5-7
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
Devotional:
Have you ever wished you were smarter, or been in a situation where you didn’t know what to do? God tells us in this verse to ask Him for wisdom. Not only will He hear us, but He will give wisdom generously to those who ask in faith. He is faithful in this promise to us. Take a moment today and ask God for His wisdom in handling the circumstances of your life. He will direct your future rather than critique your past.
